Settlement Reached in Buckyball Lawsuit, Founder Agrees to Product Recall On Monday, May 12th, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reached an agreement with the creator of Buckyballs to issue a product recall for the small, powerfully magnetic toys. Dyson Issues Product Recall for Portable Heaters

Dyson’s Product Recall Issued Due to Potential Fire Hazard Dyson has issued a product recall for 393,000 portable electric heaters due to a potential fire hazard. Reportedly, the portable heaters can develop an electric short and overheat, which can melt some of the parts on the heaters or start a fire. Dyson stated that the company knows of 82 incidents worldwide in which the heaters shorted, including four reports of heaters that caught fire and had burned or melted internal parts. Product Recall for Baby Dolls Issued Due to Burn Hazard Walmart and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have issued a product recall for 174,000 baby dolls that can overheat, creating a burn hazard. The “My Sweet Love” / “My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Doll” toys are designed to get “sick,” including coughing, babbling, fever, and flushed cheeks.
