Twin Cities-Area Company Issues Food Recall After Listeria Detected A Minnesota-based company issued a major food recall on October 7th after the company detected listeria in their meat products. Buddy’s Kitchen, which distributes several meat and poultry products to major retailers as well as airlines, issued a food recall for 62,488 pounds of meat and poultry breakfast items which were distributed between July 16th and September 25th. Study Links Increased Dietary Supplement Use to Rising Liver Damage Rates A new scientific study, published in the journal Hepatology, links dietary supplement use to an increased to a rise in liver damage and failure rates over a 10-year period.
