Logging Truck Causes Fatal Wreck on Lodge Highway

According to WIS-TV, a Columbia man has died as a result of an accident caused yesterday afternoon on Lodge Highway in Colleton County when a logging truck attempting to pass on a double yellow line collided into the John Deere tractor he was driving. John Shirey was driving a 1969 John Deere farm tractor down Lodge Highway when he tried to make a left turn onto Sunflower Lane.
