Bell Recalls Bicycle Helmets

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada announced a voluntary recall Monday.  Bell said customers should stop using the recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. South Carolina Defective Drug Attorneys Johnson & Johnson sued for $10 Million Be careful choosing the products you buy for your children. Jurors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ruled a Johnson & Johnson unit must pay $10 million to the family of a 13-year-old girl who experienced skin burns and permanent eye damage after she took Children’s Motrin. The South Carolina House of Representatives declared May as “Water Safety Awareness Month” in an effort to educate the public about the dangers of drowning as another hot South Carolina summer heads our way. 2-Year-Old gets Mauled by 70-Pound Pit Bull

A two year old boy is still recovering after he was attacked by a 70-pound pit bull. The incident took place in Sumter, South Carolina. Police say the boy, rode his tricycle into the yard where the dog was chained up.  Then the dog attacked and caused the boy to suffer serious injuries including head trauma. “This is the worst thing that could happen to anybody, especially a mother,” the boy’s mother told reporters. Dog Attacks Woman

Doe, 34, was visiting the Roes’ house when she was attacked by their dog.  She suffered a bite wound around the right corner of her lip.  The injury left her with scarring, nerve damage, and shallow bites on one her of hands. She still has problems with impaired speech and drooling.  She also suffered from as a result of the attack. Summer not only brings hot weather, but it also brings unwanted pests.  If you suffer from insect bites, you may want to think twice about undergoing laser treatment to deal with scarring. Logging Truck Causes Fatal Wreck on Lodge Highway

According to WIS-TV, a Columbia man has died as a result of an accident caused yesterday afternoon on Lodge Highway in Colleton County when a logging truck attempting to pass on a double yellow line collided into the John Deere tractor he was driving.  John Shirey was driving a 1969 John Deere farm tractor down Lodge Highway when he tried to make a left turn onto Sunflower Lane.  The driver of a logging truck tried to pass on a double-yellow line and crashed into his tractor.
