2-Year-Old gets Mauled by 70-Pound Pit Bull

A two year old boy is still recovering after he was attacked by a 70-pound pit bull. The incident took place in Sumter, South Carolina. Police say the boy, rode his tricycle into the yard where the dog was chained up. Then the dog attacked and caused the boy to suffer serious injuries including head trauma. “This is the worst thing that could happen to anybody, especially a mother,” the boy’s mother told reporters. According to WIS-TV, a Columbia man has died as a result of an accident caused yesterday afternoon on Lodge Highway in Colleton County when a logging truck attempting to pass on a double yellow line collided into the John Deere tractor he was driving.
