Dyson’s Product Recall Issued Due to Potential Fire Hazard Dyson has issued a product recall for 393,000 portable electric heaters due to a potential fire hazard. Reportedly, the portable heaters can develop an electric short and overheat, which can melt some of the parts on the heaters or start a fire. Dyson stated that the company knows of 82 incidents worldwide in which the heaters shorted, including four reports of heaters that caught fire and had burned or melted internal parts.
