On August 30, 2010, I posted an article titled "Johnson and Johnson Hip Implant Failure Rate Prompts Recall." This article discussed Johnson and Johnson"s recall of the DePuy ASR Hip System, also known as the ASR XL Acetabular System. People with the ASR XL Acetabular hip replacement implant have experienced problems such as swelling, pain, and difficulty walking.
