A 17-year-old Texas boy was drinking with his father and brother when he was shot and killed while playing with a loaded gun.

Torres shot the gun at a butane tank that ricocheted back and hit him in the head, killing him.
According to police, Torres tried to convince his girlfriend to shoot the gun, but when she refused to take it, Torres removed the gun”s clip and pointed it at the butane tank. Thinking it wasn”t loaded, he pulled the trigger.
In Texas, it is legal for minors to drink alcohol when it is distributed directly by their parents. However, police are still investigating to find out if the father bore any criminal responsibility in the death of his son.
