Organic Eggs Under Food Recall Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination Sixdogs Investments, LLC, has issued a voluntary food recall for some containers of organic eggs due to a possible salmonella contamination. Routine testing of the organic eggs showed that some eggs may be contaminated with salmonella. Food Recall for Listeria Contamination in Dole Salads On Friday, March 14th, Giant Food Stores issued a food recall for Dole brand salads due to a potential listeria contamination. The food recall covers Dole Italian Blend Salad Mix and Dole Fresh Vegetables. Giant Foods says that consumers should check their salad or vegetable bags for a Sell By date of March 12th. Cheese Under Food Recall After Listeria Outbreak Leads to One Death A cheese manufacturer based in Delaware has issued a food recall for several varieties of Hispanic-style cheese after a listeria outbreak led to one death and several illnesses. Roos Foods issued the food recall after learning about one death related to a listeria outbreak caused by its cheeses.
